Like a beautiful, beautiful cross between Rampage and Godzilla, 
silverfen has the ability to transform into an enormous kaiju — and I know it's an unpopular opinion among the Godzilla die-hards, but I really (really) liked the 1998 rendition — though I just realized; I wonder if this counts as a TG/TF ??? ... Keep a close eye on silverfen and see if they leave any eggs behind!

As a Godzilla film i think it sucked.

I agree. I think that's one of the common feelings. I know Godzilla fans prefer the OG lore and character design, but as a stand-alone, it was fun. ... And as much as I liked Ferris Bueller, Matthew Broderick was an odd choice for an action star, imo.
Oop? Far be it from me to be the “um actually” guy, but I thought the whole point of the 90’ godzilla was that the main one was male and could asexually reproduce.

I remember seeing that when it first came out in the arcade and being immediately drawn to it.
its definately not as good a film as the originals...but it spawned a kick ass cartoon out of it
