The rare times that Rec can safely venture through the city on his own are the times where everyone is gathered somewhere else for a parade or a holiday event, and Rec relishes those times more than anything. This time it was a summer celebration, with everyone leaving the more realistically-detailed part of town to have a parade elsewhere. Walking through the peacefully abandoned streets, the snake was enjoying being able to stay normal-sized while out and in the sun as he made his way toward his favorite spot in the city.

Unfortunately for Rec, a certain purple demon was bored that day. After discovering his poor friend sulking around all alone, Hellfarch decided to drop in and say hello.


I've had the idea for this particular scene in mind for a while now. I never imagined any sort of context for it, just the image of Hellfarch flopping down in front of someone to make a bombastic and oversized entrance that conveniently puts him in the perfect position to toy with them with his fingers. While I had him do this to Rec since his model was already available and proven for animation, Hellfarch would probably do this to any random person he decides to mess around with for the day.

This also shows off Hellfarch's redesigned harness! It now wraps around just his chest rather than loosely sagging down to his torso, and the ring now has clamps to show how it physically attaches to the straps, which are also much wider than before. I'm really glad with how it looks now and I hope to show it off more in the future!
