Taking a quick detour from cross-posting/archiving/re-homing old art to post something from July 2020, whaaaaat?
Basically I want to introduce my "cub-sona", Dominic "Dommy" Duncan, to the portion of my watchers here that identify as babyfurs/diaperfurs but haven't met him yet.
I posted this one over to DA to promote my page here since it's super easy to miss journals and status posts over there now, and I like it enough to maybe use it as a profile ID or something over here for a bit.

Daww, quite the cute donkey. And very nice! I like the little detail of it being crayon writing to promote the FA link. XD Good little touch there!
Thank you very much!
I figured I should debut this guy early, even though I wanted to wait until I had my gallery here caught up so I could start posting all of my new art to all three galleries at once. I know I have a few watchers that are part of the babyfur/diaperfur community that might like to see him.

I suppose I'm part of that group myself. XP Definitely can't wait to see what you have in store for Dommy
True, I don't know if I necessarily fit in with that community myself for a couple of reasons, but with the number of friends I have that are part of those groups I thought it would be a good idea to have a child character to interact with them. As fun as it is seeing somebody like Shade Koopa or Ozzie turn the tables on Skunk Boy (I love role-reversal stuff like that, things like the babysitter becoming the babysat for example), I can also understand why people might find that thing sort of weird... so what better "cubsona" to design to play with other young child characters than a donkey child that's basically the exact same sort of kid I was at his age?
So far, I have a handful of pics of him on DA, and he's just a pudgy, kinda dopey kid that seems to have forgotten pants exist, but I would like to do more with him in the future.

Yeah I totally understand! I'm not really in the community, just more so have an interest in diapers and stuff.
Oooh yes, role reversal is always a fun silly thing to see happen! I've done it a few times in roleplays in the past. And I think a cub sona adds a much more pure (I guess?) aspect to thing. :P
Hehe, they always seem to forget about the pants. But who needs em anyways!

I don't know if I've mentioned it before, but I find myself to be somewhat alienated from the diaper community, as my interest in them is far more in the embarrassment and silliness of them, and how they look and feel, and what they represent in terms of dependence, lack of control, immaturity and so on, than I am in their usage. Also, it's quite rare for me to really be interested in diaper art that doesn't involve one of my own characters, for some reason.
That said, I absolutely love role-reversal scenarios! The baby-sat babysitter, the pet owner turned pet, silly cartoon stuff like that. But, you're right, having a child character makes it much more "pure" and "innocent", because no matter how you look at it, there will always be those lingering... ideas... about why an adult cartoon animal is in daycare dressed like a toddler while in the presence of other cartoon animal toddlers.
I believe this is my fifth or sixth drawing of little Dommy so far, and not one of those drawings has included pants of any sort! I get the feeling he'd just wear generic shorts, probably some dark color, like what I remember most of my wardrobe being when I was six.

Awww, such a cute donkey cub! *gets out some of my toys* Wanna play with me Donny?
Being new, little Dommy seems a bit shy at first... But upon being greeted by the friendly fox, he wanders over, ready to make a new friend...
Very glad you like him! I thought it would be a good idea to introduce the cub-sona here so he could make some friends. I pretty much designed him to interact with babyfur characters--as much as I love seeing my Skunk Boy or Skunkdog finding himself going from "babysitter" to "babysat", I know some might consider that to be a bit odd, so I thought I'd design an actual child character as well.
I'm still not entirely sure how I want to play him, though, since he's only been a part of my cast for a few months, but I do know that he's shy and quiet until he gets to know someone better (at which point he can be very talkative), likes to draw and write, is a tad clumsy, and can be rather stubborn at times--all fun qualities to play with in a child character.
