This could help me with https://www.furaffinity.net/view/37016681. I’m sure the problem with the face I’m doing is that it’s too wide and round for a horse but I can fit the the whole design I’m trying to do (all chars have wide faces).
So you do the shading OVER the lineart? How do you do to keep the lineart intact? I see it gets thin or even disappears in some points. Do you use transparency?

I don't do lineart on this style, it's more like a refined sketch and it's meant to be covered at some point (with the exception of outlines and a few details maybe). I use normal layers for the painting, if there is transparency it's inherent to the brush configuration. The lines disappear because I paint over them, that's all.
in your patreon do you have more tutorials like that? if there are several tutorials I would sign to see, they are starting now in digital art but I don't find many tutorials teaching
There're 8 tutorial at Patreon, 4 of them are flash files with extra explanation, brush setting and so. You can get all of them by entering at $5 tier and check the tag "tutorials".
