Meet Tica (pronounced tee-kuh), my Undertale character and totally not my self-insert, or anything! She’ll be the main character when or if I ever do my Undertale comic (I’m welcoming any ideas for names for that, cuz I’m drawn a blank). I actually did lots of research going into her story, so a lot of thought was put into every detail.
*squeeee!* I love her!!
*Clumsy and somewhat accident-prone.
*Taller than Sans and shorter than Papyrus. About 5’.
*She’s in her mid-20s. ‘Helvetica’ is not the name she was given by her parents, but what she chose for herself when she found out that skeletons are traditionally named after their font (skeletons can ‘see’ people’s fonts in my headcanon, and coded fonts like Gaster’s can be understood by other skeletons, but not anyone else).
*Born on the Surface to a completely human family, she has a hard time relating to them.
*Has a very difficult time controlling her magic because she never had anyone to teach her, as only monsters have magic. Switches randomly between forms or partially shifts parts of her body without meaning to.
*Was homeschooled in her early years to keep her hidden away from society and ‘normal people’.
*She is very self conscious and shy, and does her best to blend in and not stand out, which is hard because of her naturally white hair.
*Spends much of her time reading books and doing research, trying to find out about herself and why she is the way she is. Read that moonstone was once used to absorb energies and decided to try it to absorb her uncontrollable magic. It worked for the most part and now she always wears the necklace. Parts of her body will still randomly change, but not nearly as much, and she doesn’t summon attacks by accident with it on, either.
*Can use bone attacks, telekinesis, and can teleport (a short distance) if she needs to. None of which are very well developed and she can’t control them very well, therefore she tries to avoid confrontations and using her magic at all (plus, humans tend to freak out when magic is involved).
She does NOT have blasters.
From here, I have ideas for two different timelines:
1.) She eventually falls Underground (before Frisk) and makes friends with other monsters. They help her learn about her magic.
2.) Sans’ machine pulls her into the Alpha Timeline. She was the most recent one to arrive, and the only one that isn’t a version of Sans or Papyrus. AU skeletons - shared house edition.
**Is not an alternate version of any existing characters.**
Might have time to make one more ref sheet before Art Fight starts July 1st, but I’m not gonna force it. If it happens, it happens; if not, oh well.
This will be my first time participating in Art Fight, and most, if not all of next month’s posts will be attacks.
