Anyone remember Tan? A character who appeared in a short-lived comic called Fusion that I used to read in 1987, back when Eclipse comics was on top of the (b&w funny animal) world.

An otter, Tan was the engineer on the spaceship Tsunami, he was known to be Canadian and quite a drinker but like Tyrion Lannister would drink and know things, it normally affected Tan positively. The stories followed the crew of the Tsunami who would take missions nobody wanted, bad things would happen and sometimes they would actually make money.

Here we see Tan drinking as usual and that half liter of beer is about to tip him over in that stool from gravity alone.

This was a Patreon sketch from  dirty-bird of a character by  stevegallacci who also had an APA publication called Huzzah! So this is a bit of a double dedication.
