Fountain pen and ink on watercolor paper (in a notebook). Noodler's Ink Bulletproof Black ink; TWSBI Eco pen. All hand drawn. I may color this eventually. Yes, I am crazy enough to sit down and color this. I kind of like it black and white, though.

Thanks. I'd type more but my eyes are still crossed from drawing.
Woof, that's a load of ink on watercolor paper.
I like the black and white too, but then again I'm a monochrome kind of guy. :)

I used a TWSBI. Those things hold a LOT of ink. I mean, a LOOOOTTTTT of ink. I drew this and the peas... and needed to refill. That is a lot of ink. And everyone is saying leave it as is so it is. I don't really want to paint it as I'd have to use a teeny tiny brush. I will have an example of that, if I ever get it finished.
This must have taken ages to finish. I can't believe the sheer number of designs. Makes me want to find some ink for my own fountain pens. I used to journal with them.
AAAAAAAAAAAAA! You get to be my new best friend! Another fountain pen enthusiast. :D OK. Yeah. I'm probably more into than you but that's ok. I draw a lot and keep a journal. I have tons of pens and gallons of ink. I just got an eyedropper that is really nice. I will admit that I am not one of the spending 200$ for a pen. I lose things and/or break them... I stick with the cheaper pens. I love TWSBIs for drawing.
I understand your enthusiasm completely. I adore my two pens and the only reason I stopped using them is because I am bad at reordering ink. Which I am rectifying right now.
I have two Pilot fountain pens with standard nibs, about $20 each. The weight of them is a pleasure and they glide like a dream across the page. I switched the ink cartridges out with the pinch reservoir adapters so I can refill my pen directly from the bottle in seconds.

I'm just way too into the whole thing. I prefer them to draw with now. I have gallons of ink. You want any, note me. I have a couple of the Pilot Metropolitans. Good pens.
The thing which impresses me the most is how eveny sized everything in the pattern is. I agree that it looks better in monochrome, if colored it may turn into a hawaiian shirt.
I was trying to vary the sizes... but I'm so OCD they came out pretty much the same. Doodling the little designs inside them was difficult. It will stay monochrome. Most people like it that way so yay! I'm finished!
