What can I say, I too find hoop transformations interesting and wanted to get in on the fun.
When five friends discover what appears to be a discarded ring in the field, it leads them to a place and a show they"ll never forget, or perhaps they will. Who can say?
This story grew as I worked on it, with the antagonist going from a one off to a full fledged character who will probably be back in some capacity in the future.
Enjoy.

Thanks. I like the mechanics of a hoop trigger, but was somewhat disappointed with how fast they generally go.
What is good - the story antagonist has some limits in his magic. But I think mind control ability is too much. He has to use some non-magic mind tricks.
What is problematic: He is revealed too early. Maybe, better to start fight after second boy. And, if they have cat IQ, five characters are too dumb now to do something against him.
And, how age change works? Are they young felines corresponding their human age or grown-ups and ready to performance cats?

I also prefer characters who have limits on their abilities; Hamza is talented and physically competent in a fight, but his main strength is his wits and ability to adapt on the fly. His only mental ability is to control the pets he's created. Naturally, this means as more of the mind is physically changed, the stronger his influence gets.
The reveal does come up a bit quickly, but walking through convincing the boys to go through another trick probably would have added another 5 - 7 pages to the story, and at over 20 pages, it was already pushing the length of a single sitting read, which is the length I like to shoot for.
To my mind, any human over twelve or so would transition into a late adolescent / early adult animal. I look at it from a mental development perspective, and by that point in life, a human has already developed the functionality adult animals have, namely spacial reasoning and object permanence.

Of course, I think that magician can always give an explanation like "let's speak about it later, show must go on", but he really WANTS to reveal and play cat'n'mouse with them.
The main problem is character death, would be better if they save some personality at least allowing them to be PC later. But they could regain it after a while, because, for example, magician can mind control only limited number of subjects.
What is for escape? Will it me magician break from his demiplane or another round of victims? (i.e. ferret pipe, otter water grave, badger coffin, volverine superhero and ratel resurrection?)

Typo: Will it *be* Hazma' break from his demiplane or another round of victims? (i.e. ferret pipe, otter water grave, badger coffin, volverine superhero and ratel resurrection?)
I'm kind of surprised you didn't call your villain/hero the Ringmaster.
I would love to see more on this though - with a lot of your stories, even after the victim is completely transformed, I want to here what happens next.

Thank you for the kind words. I'm glad you enjoyed the story.
I prefer giving characters actual names because I feel it makes them more real. As Hamza's introductory story, I wanted to give him a good foundation and depth to develop from in the future.

That was a wonderfully colorful trip through the hoop. Time stretch was a wonderful aesthetic choice. It would be hard for most writers to nail it like you did.
I also like how there was a sense of possible escape through problem solving. I would love to see more of that! :D

Thank you for the compliments. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
I’m not one who prefers feral TFs, but this was still a very enjoyable read! Of course one of my favorite aspects had to be the brainwashing/MC! Also cute icon by the way!
Thank you very much, I'm glad you enjoyed it.
