With Marsh and Mallow set to study all sorts of human life, they of course need some helpers!
-MANOS, Multitasking Appendages and Next-generation Organization System, is basically a massive talking multitool. He is an upgrade off of of the earlier MANO, Multifunctional ANalytical Operator, by having more dexterous appendages.
-"Bonbon" is the given name to a Class 3 exploration drone. While it's not uncommon for drones to be named, few have been given the level of personification or care that Mallow has granted.
-MANOS functions as the ship's sole custodian, as well as Marsh and Mallow's lab assistant, helping to take care of ship-wide processes that aren't explicitly assigned to the AI.
-Bonbon is called such due to Mallow exclaiming "He looks like a little bonbon!", and Marsh deciding to let the name stick during setup.
-MANOS, most likely due to his intended task, tends to come off as rather serious and cold. Despite this, he does mean well, even beyond his programmed parameters.
-Bonbon has a very large variety of tools and probes in her cat-sized body due to efficient design and 4th-dimensional internal construction.
-MANOS has basic social software, and can not process sarcasm, jokes and metaphors among other intricacies. He does attempt to learn, though it's ultimately low-priority.
-Bonbon was given some fluid personality software by Marsh during setup, the result was an extremely curious individual, eager to learn about everything and everyone she meets but is utterly fixated on earthlings most of all.
-Common attachments for MANOS include cameras, hoses, trimmers, probes, and of course, hands.
-Bonbon can swap out various probes and the like, but often caries with her a specialized "Infinite Storage Compartment", a spatially compacted and displaced tesseract designed to store untold amounts of objects of any size without adding weight or bulk. It looks very much like a metal backpack.
-MANOS is mostly anchored to the ship's extensive rail system, but can transfer to a small probe if required. Additional mountings are also possible at Marsh's behest.
-Bonbon has limited transformation capabilities for traversing different environments, but is normally seen with 4 detached legs.
-MANOS does tend to have a bit of an attitude when it comes to dealing with the antics of his two masters, especially considering how much of it skirts on the edges of its programming.
-Bonbon will often act much like a pet to the two Trakaturnians when off-duty, Marsh not ever taking her offline unless it's important.
-Bonbon has a hard time identifying things correctly, as his own knowledge and pattern recognition is limited often leading to her creating new synonyms for things.
-After borrowing Mallow's phone for a bit, Bonbon developed a love for taking selfies with her pictures. It does mess with the quality of pictures brought back for analysis but Mallow finds it too cute to correct.
-Despite being robots, MANOS and Bonbon have a more masculine and feminine voice chip setup respectively and are referred to as such by Marsh and Mallow.
thundra~ surprised me with making some helpers to go along with the fluffy aliens, how could I say no?

Was trying to think of a joke about MANOS using a picture, but couldn’t think of one, so I’m just gonna put this here: https://i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images.....63/832/79c.jpg
Along with a question: was MANOS’ design, along with Bobon’s except for a different character, inspired by him by any chance?
Along with a question: was MANOS’ design, along with Bobon’s except for a different character, inspired by him by any chance?
So, is their fate in MANOS' hands?
(... Please tell me you get the reference)

I get it.
Now if you'll excuse me, I must tend to the place while the Master is away!
