Probably just a bit of dirt. Just wipe your paw over it and that should clear it out. =p
Yeah I'm sure I can clean it off if I just plant it back down and have a nice long scrape across this bit of ground in front of me.

Whatever it is, perhaps rubbing it off somewhere would help with any debris.
Right! I was given the idea to just wipe it off on the ground in front of me, since it looks pretty clean.
