If you get inside such a mouth in real life, 2-3 cycles will make you lose all your milk...

It's so nice, having people that I've actually followed for years now watching and liking what I make ^^. I only started actually using the watch option recently instead of bookmarking everything or searching for hours for new stuff XD. My account is new but I'm not really, I was using a more generic name before.

Such fluid motion and great lighting. I also love how you managed to avoid most if not all clipping in such a cramped space.

Yea thanks for noticing and I'm glad you like it. It was quite a challenge mostly because I wanted to stay as close to the tongue while moving it and the camera much more than what I previously did. There are three different light versions on the mega share too if you're interested.

If you don't mind a more neutral opinion. I find myself drawn between the two.

The brightest one shows off the textures/materials and shows off more of the memorizing animation loop details that's easy to miss with the dark one.

But the dark one sets a stronger atmosphere. While I'm aware there probably wouldn't be much if any light in a closed maw, but it seems to set a more "real" and interesting perspective.

I welcome and appreciate every critique, every comment, and every thought especially if there's some effort being put behind them. If someone is uncomfortable leaving a comment I also have no problem receiving notes. If I did anything that could make peoples hesitant to express themself I would really like to know. English is not my first language so it's might be possible I did without noticing.

I'm really happy in fact that you have difficulties choosing between them. This means that it was relevant to do them. You also pointed out exactly why I did them. The first one was intended to have a more realistic tone without being too dark, the second one was, in fact, a little mistake because one of the light didn't follow the camera as it was supposed to but look nice anyway and the last one is the one was to show more what was to show the detail of the texture, shading and overall detail of the scene. The gif uses the second one. There's also a hidden video in there... I wonder how many peoples have seen it :3

No, no nothing you said or did. Just a bad habit I developed recently. I often apologize when I start critique work because allot of people tend to get a little defensive when I do that.

I know about this habit of feeling like I might have offended someone and having to say that I'm sorry. I would like to give you a hug but my FA character has no arms. How does he creat that stuff is a mystery!!! I'm glad it wasn't because of something I said. I really try to be as open and easy to talk as possible.

How much blender experience did you have before this? All the good stuff made with this model makes me want to try it out myself, though not sure how long it'd take to make something decent like this...

about 8 years but I don't think that much is required. Making the animation probably took me around 2h. Making sure the rendering was good I don't really know, 1h 2 more hard to say. The tongue rig itself about 4 or 5. White as released the new rig too if you want to try and I'm open to help anyone who asks and wants to learn how to use blender. I mostly know about rig and animation and not that much about how to model a character.
