*2018 pic
Drawings of older Pinocchio. The colored pose was to show Pinocchio is confident with positivity, as if he's an optimistic worker in Geppetto's woodshop. I even updated his pants a bit - to make his whole clothing more Tyrol folk outfit. Here is a blog which it's very helpful for folk costume ideas. Also, for his shoes - they were changed, too. In fact, these pair were referenced from Maurice's from "Beauty and the Beast." For the second sketch at the lower-right, I drew him as a "Really?" expression with this pose. Even though Pinocchio is cheerful, he can express any expression - such as unimpressed or frustrated.
PS: My dream-wish is that if older-Pinocchio would be in a spin-off... he would be voice by Elijah Wood (He actually did play as Pinocchio when he was a kid. His role of Pinocchio was in the Educational Films with Jiminy Cricket (including “I’m No Fool”).
