Despite being treated as royalty, Nyx never demanded much of anything, but did insist that one particular cave be off limits to anyone except her unless she gave explicit permission.
To her, this cave was a natural wonder. Lit naturally by countless crystals that illuminated with a heavenly blue glow, just like her rings. Of course that reason was merely a superficial quality that she liked personally, but this was indeed an underground haven of peace, and she visited frequently to relax and meditate, particularly in two of her favorite sections of the cave: One that had soft running water nearby that she could listen to, and the opposite section with complete and total silence, whichever she needed at the time. It was not Nyx's style to impose restrictions, but aside from having the privacy of this sanctuary, she did genuinely feel that this cave was an achievement of nature that had to be protected. Special visitors were rarely permitted as long as she felt assured that they would show appreciation and respect for the cave, and that they would not alter or interfere with anything inside.
It has been rumored by some that Nyx would extend invitations to exceptionally heroic individuals to this cave to grant some of the greatest wishes ever requested of her. Wishes that altered reality and defied the natural order. Wishes that could have even caused Pokémon to lose their faith in her, if such secrets between Nyx and her honored guests had ever left the privacy of this crystalline sanctum.
