Now, here's a minor TUFF character I've created by the name of Barry Cuda (get it?) for the Team Katswell Character Guide.

Barry is a very talented surfer, and can stay on a wave for about three hours, and not wipe out. He's also well skilled in mixed martial arts, and because he's a barracuda, Barry is a very skilled swimmer. He's also very good at applying first aid to an injured individual, and has great knowledge of ocean life, and the tides.

Bio:
Barry Cuda is a lifeguard on the beaches of Sydney, Australia, but he's also one of the city's best surfers. This came about when his parents took him to the beach, and he was amazed at all the surfers staying on their boards without toppling over. So, as he got older, Barry was enrolled in a surfing class at Sydney's Community Arts Centre, and perfected his surfing skills along with his best friend, Niles Crocston. Once he graduated from high school, Barry decided to give back to his community, while still enjoying the beaches of Sydney. So, he decided to become a lifeguard, and only surf for fun.
But, it wasn't until a few years later when Niles returned to the Land Down Under with Kitty and the rest of Team Katswell to partake in the Annual Sydney Surf-A-Thon, where the best surfers from all around the globe compete for a chance to win $3,000,000 in cash. And, Barry happens to be a competitor in the competition, and after re-uniting with Niles, he got well acquainted with the rest of the team. This, of course, caught the attention of Snaptrap and the rest of DOOM as well, who want to win the money to pay back the cable company. He did so by posing as the mayor of Sydney, and passing out a law banning the Sydney Surf-A-Thon, and arresting all the competitors just so his goons could steal the prize money.
Of course, Kitty, Niles, Barry, and the others didn't buy into this, and did some investigating. During the investigation, the gang ran into the Pretty Kitty Crew (yes, Lizzy happens to be a competitor in the Surf-A-Thon, too), but Snaptrap was able to capture all of them! Except for Barry, who happens to know some MMA during his lifeguard career. After defeating Snaptrap and his cronies, Barry rescued his friends and all the other competitors, and the competition went on as scheduled.
The Chief was impressed by Barry's fighting skills, and balance, and asked him if he could join TUFF as a new field agent. After talking it over with his boss, Barry resigned from lifeguarding, and joined TUFF as an aquatics expert, as well as teaching Kitty and the rest of Team Katswell how to surf, as well.

Personality & Traits:
Being raised on the beaches of Sydney, Barry has developed a laid-back and calm demeanor, typical to that of a surfer dude. But, because of his lifeguard training, he's still ready to lay his life on the line to guard others from the dangers of the ocean. Even with his lifeguard training and serious-when-need-be attitude, Barry still finds time to kick back, and do a little surfing here and there.
As stated earlier, Barry and Niles have been good friends since childhood. They've spent loads of time at the beach when they were kids, like racing dune buggies, making sand castles, collecting seashells, and even pestering seagulls. When Niles returned with Kitty and the rest of Team Katswell, Barry got very well acquainted with them (Dudley scared him at first, but he's warmed up to him). And, upon joining TUFF, he's gotten along with the other agents very well, even though he's still not used to being away from the ocean, though.
And, although Barry's a skilled surfer, he doesn't like it when he gets distracted while hanging ten. When he does so, he loses his perfect balance, and gets wiped out as a result. Thankfully, he tries not to let it happen, especially during a surfing competition. He also likes ice cream bars, especially on a hot summer's day, and listening to a little reggae from time to time. But, he's afraid getting into conflicts he has no business in.
