Oh, I definitely had fun with it, this is one of the many examples of "warmup drawing that went too far" that I have. 😅

That's a unique satisfaction and that's where a bunch of my most enjoyed piece come from. The warm-up that just keeps going.
Ooh, even at an early stage I can see this was based on a Bearded Vulture! You can see the feathers of the 'beard' coming out too, but I think the eyes are the most recognizable, in this case, they are very unique to this species!

Thanks! I haven't done this kind of growing beak in a while, with the lips pulling back, because it makes a lot of people uncomfortable, but it feels good just to draw for yourself, you know? 😂
Good thing is that were-vultures only eat things when they’re already dead!
