Republic Commando Squads
Squad #1: Loth-Wolf Squad.
Name: One-Eye.
Appearance: three scars and a cybernetic eyepatch over his left eye.
Armor: Crimson red and white with a Loth-Wolf on the chest, three scars on the left side of the visor and an anti Geonosian symbol on both shoulders.
Bio: One-Eye is the Commander of Loth-Wolf Squad. He got his name due to the loss of one of his eyes. During the Battle of Geonosis, he killed a couple of Geonosians who have captured a clone trooper. He remembered how he killed them: He crushed the head of one Geonosian and tore the other one apart with his bare hands. He lost his left eye during the fight, along with three scars over it after a Geonosian scratched him, though. Since then, he wore a cybernetic eyepatch. Some of the clones believed he was driven mad since he lost his eye long ago, but he has a good heart when he's around Younglings and Cadets. One-Eye fought many battles with his team, once shutting down three droid factories while a group of Republic forces were launching an attack on a Separatist base. Then, one day, he was at a Jedi temple talking to some Clone cadets and Jedi younglings when Order 66 was executed. One-Eye noticed some of the clones executing Jedi and refusing to execute Order 66, he and his squad fought back on the other clones and evacuated the Cadets and Younglings onto a Republic gunship. Eventually, they met up with other Jedi survivors and other clones who didn't follow Order 66 and went into hiding in an old Jedi Temple with ARC Trooper White Knight and the Zeltron Mandalorian, Jo'eyk Oel. Since then, One-Eye spends his days training clones and searching for other surviving Jedi with his squad. He also carried a blue lightsaber and a green lightsaber which originally belonged to a couple of human Jedi Knights who sacrificed their lives to save a handful of Padawans and Younglings from being executed by the clones.
Name: Kill-Shot.
Appearance: a crosshair tattoo over his right eye.
Armor: Navy blue and charcoal black with a sniper scope on the helmet and the words "Eat laser, Clankers" on the chest plate. He also has hash marks on his arms, legs and chest.
Bio: Kill-Shot is a skilled gunslinger of the group. He's an expert on every type of weapon on the Republic's arsenal. He got his name due to being an expert shot, rarely misses a target. Kill-Shot is good friends with One-Eye and became his second-in-command after saving his life. One time, One-Eye attempted to take his own life, but Kill-Shot saved him and ever since then, they've been really close friends. He took out a lot of droids since the very beginning of the Clone Wars and was loyal to the Republic, but when Order 66 was executed, his feelings began to change. After saving some of the Jedi from being executed by the other clone troopers, he and his squad mates evacuated some of the Jedi onto a gunship and took them to an abandoned Jedi Temple. Since then, Kill-Shot spends his days training other clones who didn't follow Order 66. Kill-Shot became a smuggler and was still the same skilled gunslinger he was during the Clone Wars, once holding off three stormtroopers while his squad mates were stealing supplies from an Imperial shuttle. He even spends his days searching for Jedi survivors and hunting stormtroopers after the formation of the Galactic Empire, most of them being clones who betrayed the Republic.
Name: Razor.
Appearance: a few scars on his face.
Armor: Scarlet red with a blue and green lightsaber on the chest and several scars on the arms and legs.
Bio: Razor is the strong, silent type of Loth-Wolf Squad. He doesn't talk much, but he never turns away from a battle with droids. Razor got his name due to his fondness of sharp weapons. He never goes into battle without a vibro-blade by his side. He has a habit of decapitating Battle Droids. He chopped off so many heads, even some of the Jedi were amazed by his skills. Razor was shown to be stealthy and takes out droids before they even have time to fight back. He also carried two vibro-swords which belonged to a couple of Commando Droids. When Order 66 came, he turned on the other clones and ended their lives for attempting to kill Jedi. He still remembers slashing the throats of four clones and cutting off the heads of four more clones. Razor then joined the Empire as a Jedi Hunter, although what the Empire didn't know was that he was a spy. He killed a couple of Imperial Officers and was able to free a few Jedi that were held prisoner by the Empire. Nowadays, he helps his squad look for other surviving Jedi who have gone into hiding after the Clone Wars.
Name: Claw.
Appearance: Claw marks on his face.
Armor: Amber orange with claw marks on the arms, legs, helmet and chest plate.
Bio: Claw is slightly different than Razor. He has a bit of a short fuse. The others believed his temper was due to seeing too many clones die in front of him. It started when Claw and his squad mates was helping a team of clones shut down a shield generator. But then, the Battle Droids ambushed them. Claw watched in horror as numerous clones fell to the droids and then, something inside him snapped and he went mad. He took down fifteen Battle Droids, even with his own fists. He also had some scars on his face after being clawed at by some of the droids. That fight was part of the reason how Claw got his name. The deaths of numerous clones still haunts him to his day. As battles came and went during the Clone Wars, Claw started having issues with his emotions. It went from a few short outbursts, but as time passed, he became more violent. One time, he got into a big fight with three members of the Coruscant Guard, putting them in the infirmary for a month. The Republic was planning on sending him to Kamino to get some help with his short temper. Ironically, Order 66 was executed before that happened. When Claw watched clones executing Jedi, he just snapped. He charged at five clones like a wild beast and ended their lives with his bare hands. He even once took a blaster bolt in the chest while protecting three Padawans and two Knights from other clones. After recovering from his injuries, he and his squad searched for other Jedi survivors. He also took on farming which helped him control his emotions.
Squad #2: Shriek-Hawk Squad.
Name: Talon.
Appearance: Shriek-Hawk tattoo on his forehead.
Armor: Sapphire and ruby with a stylized Shriek-Hawk on the helmet and a Mythosaur skull on the chest.
Bio: Talon is the Captain of Shriek-Hawk Squad. He's also known to be a skilled pilot, once holding off three Droid Starfighters while a Republic transport fled into hyperspace. One night, he and his squad arrived on Mandalore and sabotaged a few ships that belonged to Death Watch. Talon then came across some of the Mandalorians' history and was amazed on how much info there was about them, plus their history with the Jedi Order. He and his men then decided to use this knowledge to help the Mandalorians and the Jedi Order bring peace to each other, but unfortunately, they never got the chance during the final days of the Clone Wars. When Order 66 was executed, Talon ignored it because he and his squad believed that the Jedi would never turn on the galaxy. Shriek-Hawk Squad then hijacked a Republic gunship along with befriending ten ARC Troopers and ten Jet Troopers and fled, hoping to find other Jedi that were still alive after the Clone Wars. Since the Fall of the Jedi Order, Talon and his squad have been looking for Jedi survivors with ARC Trooper White Knight and the Zeltron Mandalorian known as Jo'eyk Oel. He also stole some Mandalorian armor and weapons during a mission on Mandalore which he gave to some of the Jedi, believing it would help cover their identities from the Empire. He even carried a yellow lightsaber and an orange lightsaber which originally belonged to a male Ithorian Jedi and a male Quarren Jedi who passed away from serious injuries during the Fall of the Jedi Order. Talon also has a rivalry with Boss from Delta Squad, although he doesn't know what happened to him since the final days of the Clone Wars.
Name: Deadeye.
Appearance: Both his eyes are cybernetic and has a scar over them.
Armor: Emerald and copper with hash marks on his arms and helmet. He also has the words, " One shot, one kill" on his chest.
Bio: Deadeye is the marksman of Shriek-Hawk Squad. He got his name because of his skills with a sniper rifle. One time, he took down ten Battle Droids while a squad of clone troopers were charging at a Separatist outpost. Then, one day, he and his squad were sent on a mission to evacuate a handful of clones and a few Jedi Masters that were held prisoner by the Separatists. Deadeye provided cover while his teammates freed the prisoners. Suddenly, he was ambushed by a couple of Commando Droids. Deadeye managed to take them down, but sadly, he lost his eyes to a vibro-sword. After Deadeye was given cybernetic eyes, his accuracy has increased tenfold. When Order 66 was executed, Deadeye denied the Jedi being traitors. He saw three Jedi Knights and two Jedi Masters escaping a cave while being chased by eight clones. Fortunately for the Jedi, Deadeye fired at a crate of explosives next to the cave and the cave collapsed, trapping the clones and saving the lives of three Jedi Knights and two Jedi Masters. After the formation of the Galactic Empire, he searched the galaxy for other surviving Jedi. He even got a job as a bounty hunter to earn some money for the group, although he avoids killing Jedi and sends them to a hidden Jedi Temple they were using to rescue other survivors. Deadeye also had a rivalry with Sev from Delta Squad, although his current whereabouts were unknown since the final days of the Clone Wars.
Name: Static.
Appearance: Blind in his right eye and a lightning bolt shaped scar was over it.
Armor: Indigo, gray and white with electric blue lightning bolts.
Bio: Static is a skilled hacker, but a little shy. He also has a way of repairing droids, even reprogramming ones from the Separatist Army. Reprogramming Battle Droids was what makes Static an unusual member of Shriek-Hawk Squad. He's shy when he's around Jedi and was also inspired by them which makes him a good fighter. Static got his name due to a incident with an EMP grenade. It malfunctioned and electrocuted him. He also went blind in his right eye after the incident and even develop a bit of a stutter which lasted until somewhere during the final days of the Clone Wars. When Order 66 was executed, he helped his squad rescue a handful of Jedi from the other clones. Plus, the EMP grenade malfunctioned the inhibitor chip in his head. Looking back, he's grateful that it happened, because if not for that, he would've executed Jedi without hesitation. Since then, Static spent most of his time repairing ships, working on setting up some security around the Jedi Temple, he even reprogrammed a lot of Battle Droids that were abandoned after the Clone Wars so they can fight beside the clones and Jedi. Static also had a rivalry with Fixer from Delta Squad, although he never saw him again since the final days of the Clone Wars.
Name: Pyro.
Appearance: Cybernetics on most of his body and the right side of his face. Plus, the left side of his face had some burns that have healed overtime
Armor: Salamander orange with flames on the arms, legs and chest. He also has the word, "Burn" on the helmet.
Bio: Not much is to be said about Pyro. He always had a habit of watching Battle Droids burn from grenades or flamethrowers. His love for fire was the reason how he got his name in the first place. Pyro wasn't always like that way, though. During the early days of the Clone Wars, he was helping Shriek-Hawk Squad shut down a shield generator that was protecting a droid factory. He just finished setting charges around the area and was about to blow it up when he was attacked by Super Battle Droids. He took out a couple of Thermal Detonators, but when the droids shot them, they malfunctioned and exploded, severely burning most of his body. The mission ended in success after the generator was destroyed, but Pyro suffered serious burns on most of his body and some burns on his face. Fortunately, the damaged parts of his body were replaced with cybernetics and the burns on his face were slowly beginning to heal overtime, he even modified his cybernetics with flamethrowers. He also wore a breathing mask after his respiratory system was damaged by the explosion. Since that day, Pyro has been having a habit of setting battle droids on fire. Even some of the clones were nervous around him. After Order 66 was executed, he turned on his brothers and set them on fire instead. He remember the time he threw a grenade into a gunship, incinerating everyone inside of it. After fleeing to a hidden Jedi Temple with the rest of his squad, he spent his days stealing weapons and blowing up ships from the Empire. Pyro also had a rivalry with Scorch from Delta Squad, although he doesn't know what happened to him since the final days of the Clone Wars.
Squad #3: Krayt Dragon Squad.
Name: Drago.
Appearance: A claw mark from a Krayt Dragon on his face.
Armor: Dark green and dark orange with a Krayt Dragon on the chest and markings on the arms and legs based on the tattoos of the Nightbrothers and the Nightsisters. Plus, a crimson red and black robe.
Bio: Drago is the Sargent of Krayt Dragon Squad. Since the very beginning of the Clone Wars, he's been studying a lot of wildlife from other planets. He got his name and ironically, the name of his squad after an encounter with a Krayt Dragon which left a huge scar on his chest and one on his face from its sharp claws. Since then, Drago has been working on ways to domesticate creatures to fight for the Republic, although some of the clones just ignored his ideas. One time, Drago and his squad found an old spell book which belonged to the Nightsisters of Dathomir while on a mission. Last they heard about the Dathomir Witches, they were all presumed dead during a battle with General Grievous, although the current whereabouts of any survivors were still unknown, even after the Clone Wars. One night when Krayt Dragon Squad were on Mygeeto, Drago was studying the spells from the book while at a medical station when he found a spell that caught his attention. He reads the spell and the next thing he knew, fifteen clones that were killed by battle droids rose from the dead and charged into a squad of Battle Droids, tearing them all apart with their bare hands. He then decides to use them to aid Republic forces, although he kept the spell book a secret from the other clones and even the Jedi Order because he was afraid it might fall into the wrong hands. Since then, Drago raised a lot of fallen clones as undead warriors, but when Order 66 was executed, he ordered the undead clones to protect the Jedi from the other clones, turning them into undead warriors as well while escorting a few Jedi onto a Republic shuttle and fled to a hidden Jedi Temple where they met ARC Trooper White Knight and the Zeltron Mandalorian, Jo'eyk Oel. During the formation of the Galactic Empire, Drago and his squad were shot down on a shuttle. They were presumed dead by the Empire, although he and his squad faked their deaths, hoping the Empire won't hunt them down for betraying them. Since the Fall of the Jedi Order, Drago used the undead clones to protect the Jedi, he even joined the Rebel Alliance one week after the Battle of Yavin and used his knowledge of wildlife to assist them in battles, even during the New Republic.
Name: Gunner.
Appearance: Cybernetic arms with blaster cannons and cybernetic implants in his head.
Armor: Pewter gray and onyx black with red and blue Jaig eyes on the helmet and some blaster wounds on his chest.
Bio: Gunner is sort of a loose cannon on Krayt Dragon Squad. He got his name due to his skills with multiple weapons in the Republic armory and his skills as a gunner on ships and tanks. Gunner was believed to have a few screws loose after surviving a tank explosion. He was on the turret of a tank when a Droid Bomber blew it up, narrowly surviving the explosion. Gunner lost his arms in the explosion, so he was given cybernetic ones. He even modified them with a pair of blaster cannons. Gunner even went as far to install cybernetics into his own brain after a piece of shrapnel hit the side of his head, which also increased his accuracy. Thanks to his cybernetics, Gunner was a foe to be reckoned with, once gunning down twenty-five Battle Droids while his squad was evacuating some injured clones onto medical transports. He had quite the reputation for blasting droids. Even the ARC Troopers were impressed by his skills. He also shared a brotherly relationship with Tank. After Order 66 was executed, Gunner turned on his brothers. He remembered scaring fifteen clones by scattering blaster fire at them while evacuating a few Jedi to a hidden Temple. He was on a shuttle with his squad mates, until it was shot down during the formation of the Galactic Empire. He was presumed dead, although he faked his death with his squad mates so the Empire won't hunt them for their betrayal. Since the Fall of the Jedi Order, Gunner devoted his life into helping the Jedi. He helped work on security, mostly turrets and shields, even ships. He even joined the Rebel Alliance one week after the Battle of Yavin. Since then, he's been a great help to them and he still is during the New Republic, once holding off twenty stormtroopers while a team of Republic soldiers were freeing prisoners from Imperial custody.
Name: Merc.
Appearance: a scar over his left eye and a scar across his right cheek.
Armor: Cobalt blue and red orange with the words "Never leave a brother behind" on the chest.
Bio: Merc was a pretty cool guy. He had a few issues during the early days of the Clone Wars, but he never turns his back on a trooper in need. Merc spent his days healing injured clones and sometimes, Jedi. He's got a good heart when it comes to helping those in need, although he rarely fights droids during missions. But, he much rather be healing clones than watching them lose their lives in battle. A skilled medic, Merc once saved Gunner and Tank from a tank explosion caused by a Droid Bomber and they owe him. One time, he saved the lives of twelve clones and four Jedi that were all injured from a gunship crash. Merc also repaired droids and sometimes, give cybernetic implants to clones who lose their limbs in battle. His medical skills reminds some of the clones of Kix from the 501st. Merc cared for his fellow brothers, but when Order 66 was executed, his feeling began to change. During a mission, Merc and his squad mates evacuated a handful of Jedi and eventually, brought them to a hidden Jedi Temple. Unlike the rest of his squad, Merc stunned or knocked out other clones who attacked the Jedi, because he didn't want to take the lives of his own brothers. He even saved the lives of five Padawans, three Knights and two Masters after some injures from the clones who turned in them. During the formation of the Galactic Empire, he was shot down on a shuttle, presumed dead by the Empire. However, Merc faked his death along with his squad mates in hopes that the Empire won't hunt them down for treason. Since the Fall of the Jedi Order, Merc devoted his life to rescuing other Jedi who went into hiding after the Clone Wars. Plus, he recruited other clones who turned their backs on the Empire, some of them were ones he saved from serious injuries and ones he gave cybernetic limbs after previous battles. He also helped Static reprogram Battle Droids to fight beside them and protect the Jedi. Merc even joined the Rebel Alliance and became a very skilled doctor and mechanic, even during the New Republic.
Name: Tank.
Appearance: Cybernetic legs with rocket launchers.
Armor: Forest green and brunette.
Bio: Tank is a little hardheaded than the rest of his squad. HE got his name mostly because of his fondness of tanks and that is practically an enforcer, once taking down three Super Battle Droids with his bare hands while his squad were freeing a handful of Separatist prisoners. Tank never gave up in a fight, even after he lost his legs in an tank explosion that was caused by a Droid Bomber. His refusal to give up was part of the reason why he survived. He was given cybernetic legs after the explosion, he even went as far to equip them with rocket launchers. He also shared a brotherly relationship with Gunner. Tank enjoyed blowing up droids, mostly their vehicles. One time, he blew up five AATs and three MMTs on a bridge while his squad was shutting down a shield generator. He even once destroyed three Super Battle Droids with his bare hands. After Order 66 was executed, Tank denied the Jedi being traitors and helped his squad evacuate a handful of Jedi. During the formation of the Galactic Empire, the shuttle he was on was shot down. Tank was presumed dead, but he and his squad mates faked their deaths, hoping that the Empire won't hunt them down. Since the Fall of the Jedi Order, Tank helped out with repairs on some of the vehicles and defenses around the Jedi Temple along with bringing supplies from Imperial ships and helping out with some farming. He even joined the Rebel Alliance and helped them out with vehicle repairs and stealing weapons from the Empire. He still helps out during the New Republic.
Here's a list of three Republic Commando Squads I made for Star Wars Day. Been working on this since last month. I hope some of you will like it. Oh, and feel free to do some artwork of them. I think they would look cool. Still, hope you guys enjoy them. I put a lot of thought into them.
