Powers & Abilities:
Dudley has a distinct knowledge of explosives ranging from big-time bombs like C4 to teeny little annoyances like firecrackers. He also fires special explosives he made himself out of a special grenade launcher that he salvaged from his Uncle Pete's garage. He's also a well-trained boxer, has incredible upper body strength, and is well-adapted to fighting in freezing cold temperatures thanks to his German shepherd heritage.

Bio:
Born the runt of the litter, Dudley Puppy was a pretty weedy and worthless young mutt. Due to his low intelligence and lack of self-esteem, he was always failing in school, and even the highest education programs in Petropolis couldn't help Dudley out. Not even his distant cousin, John Shepherd, was able to figure out what's wrong with him. As a result of this, he became a loner, not wanting to make any friends because they might poke fun at his stupidity.
That was, until one day, Dudley found some firecrackers lying around, and against John's better judgment, starting playing around with them. He quickly discovered that he had a knowledge of explosives that he didn't realize he had. So much so, that John entered him in the upcoming science fair to showcase how explosives play out. But, unfortunately, one of the explosives went of prematurely, and struck down one of the teachers judging, Hernando Barlow, nearly killing him. This resulted in both him and John getting disqualified, but Dudley vowed to use his explosions for good instead of evil. So, as he got older, he and John attended TUFF Academy to follow the heroic example of Kitty Katswell, and find a heroic use for his explosions.
After graduating, Dudley bought a new chew toy, and chased it down the sidewalk. This caused him to bump into Kitty Katswell, who had just lost Snaptrap after he stole the Kruger Rat. John caught up to them, and immediately recognized Kitty. After forgiving Dudley for his reckless behavior, Kitty took him and John to TUFF HQ, where the Chief made them her new partners. So, when they went to the Southside Wharf to retrieve the Kruger Rat, Dudley came charging in with his grenade launcher a-blazin', and got him and Kitty captured. Thankfully, John was able to return with reinforcements, and helped them defeat Snaptrap and his men. After Team Katswell was formed, Kitty decided to make Dudley her team's demolitionist. After that, Dudley was always ready and eager to help Team Katswell out in any way he can.

Personality & Traits:
Dudley is a complete idiot, but not an insufferable one. He tends to be a jerk at times, but deep down, he's got a heart of gold. He knows that none of the incidents were his fault. And, even IF they were, he'd be quick to apologize and/or the rest of the team would rightfully call him out on it. So, Dudley's basically a brash idiot, but he's harmless and has his heart in the right place.
However, Dudley's canine instincts STILL tend to kick in from time to time, which often leaves him very vulnerable to enemy attack. Thankfully, Kitty and John has had him take sessions in rehab to have him get better control of them. He's been improving a bit, but not a whole lot, unfortunately.
Dudley also has a crush on Kitty Katswell ever since he admired her for her heroic deeds while working for TUFF. But, John also has a crush on her. This has caused some competitive rivalries between the two cousins for her affection. But, aside from that, he gets a long with John just fine, and he sees the rest of Team Katswell as his closest buddies, even if they don't like his brash attitude.
