Oh, I used as reference several photos and a large-scale model of the F14D aircraft with these decals. Internet say that F14A were in TopGun2. I watched these films for a long time, and now I regret a little that I did not think to see them again before drawing. :) I like both planes, they look beautiful. And F14, I am associated first of all with SWAT Kats. :P
Yeah, and in the Macross Universe one of the companies that were a part of the massive project of reverse-engineering the alien ship that had crashed in the Pacific Ocean. Grumman provided the F-14 airframe for the veritech fighter that would be the VF-0 Phenix which would later be further developed into the VF-1 Valkryie.

It's okay, you can always find an artist who can do it cheaper, just show this art to them and tell them to do something like that. :)

This is like...the bread to my butter. Seriously though, this is awesome, I want to see more stuff like this! I ESPECIALLY love the helmet, I’ve always wondered how anthro are would fit into an helmet, but that looks both functional AND FANTASTIC. Solid 12/10 on my scale, though the least I ever give is a 9/10 lmao.

Thank you very much, yes, I wanted the helmet to look not just like a curiosity, but as something that can be used. I am very glad that it looks so from the outside. Maybe I'll try to do more YCH with a different technique or something like that.
As long as I get to see more furries in fighter planes (or other military things), then that's all that matters for me! I'm still just completely stunned by how well you did with making the helmet look functional. And the fact that you managed to make it still look relatively normal and not totally weird looking! Like, it looks like something a human could wear, albeit with some difficulty, so it still says true to the form of a traditional fighter pilot helmet. Well done!
Thank you, I had a little time to learn what ordinary helmets look like before drawing it. This does not always happen. And the less you know about what you draw, the more errors you may encounter. I hope that in the future I will have more time to familiarize myself with the subject of drawing, so as not to make silly mistakes. I already had these. :P

Okay! I haven’t nailed down a character that would really fit this modern warfare theme (though I’d love to), but I’ll keep that price in mind if I ever do! Thanks!
