Funny story about Celene coming to fruition.
I was and still am a fan of the monster high franchise and designs. There was a doll/design that came out called Isi Dawndancer and I thought she was super cute in concept but not necessarily execution? I wanted to make my own deer oc and we had a ryuutama tabletop campaign coming up.
At the time I thought that hooves would be something of a bad choice for a character, but I wanted a deer inspired oc after seeing Isi's design. So I gave her paws instead of hooves and started to work on her design from there. I thought about it and just combined it with one of my favorite animal species to work with which is big cats. At that point I just fleshed out an entire species for her called felideer, gave them some culture and background and species information regarding their physical traits.Category Artwork (Digital) / All
