Another playable race from my setting, which these Patreon Rewards are helping Populate!

This time: The spriggan gnomes

Sooooo it is known, that they were a remarkably mischievous and thievish tribe. If ever a house was robbed, a child kidnapped, cattle carried away, or a building demolished, it was the work of the Spriggans.

Whatever commotion took place in earth, air, or water, it was all put down as the work of these spirits. Wherever the giants have been, there the Spriggans have been also.

It is usually considered that they are the ghosts of the giants; certainly, from many of their feats, we must suppose them to possess a giant's strength.

Hence we have this race here. They are neither goblins nor gnomes, they are not giants. But they are fey, they are mischievious, they are smart, and they are strong.

Also: they can transform into giants to do less damage if necessary... when they are small, they just tend to be so much compressed strength they destroy everything they touch.

But... they have a strong tie with the earth element and they can produce offsprings only with other gnomes, therefore they are "classified" as gnomes. But it is "kind of" a very loose classification.

Let's just say... if a Spriggan is around... you are going to have an hard time.
