This has been a long time character of mine. Much like his little sister, Amber, Soul is a hybrid between angel and demon, but with notable differences. He is taller, larger, and generally heavier than she is. This is due to having a structured lifestyle around his family and friends. Wiles, his demonic Zoroark father, taught Soul how to hunt for prey and gather his own food through the wilds. Valary, his angelic Delphox mother, gave the once little winged Fennekin many fine meals and even taught him how to make basic dishes. Amber was sweet to her big brother as she wanted the best for him and that was by often stuffing him. However, like Amber, Soul has a weak stomach towards sugary substances, but cinnamon seems to be a natural way for him to mitigate the large quantities of sugar that often upset his fiery stomach. Arnoch, his long time Umbreon pal, made a large influence on his appetite. And lastly, Justin, allowed Soul to step up and act more like a guardian to him and his family.

Besides influences, Soul grew up to be a strong and independent Delphox with his gifted abilities and traits. For instance, Soul is able to use his power over bare spirits. The demonic side of his family are ones that can manipulate bare spirits into however they wish, but Soul is still learning how to master his powers. Even to the extent of reincarnating/reviving someone, it takes a lot of energy out of the big Phox, but the mysterious orb he obtained allows him to reduce the energy cost by a great margin. All that can be said about the orb is that it was a gift from someone he recently met. For his angelic powers, they lean towards the beneficial side such as his ability to use the light in some ways. These powers aren't quite clear on their purpose yet, but one day, some light will be shed on Soul for what his angelic powers hold. An odd detail about Soul is that his body is much more softer due to the hard to notice Goodra traits he inherited from his mother's side of the family, making him quite a cozy mass to hug. And lastly, those soul related abilities of his also tie into the symbol of a flaming star on his body where the usual flame symbol on a Delphox go. It represents what his soul is about and that's a guiding star.
