“Oww! Dammit!”

In his maneuver, Arysdron suddenly realized that he had pricked a finger on one of the Idol’s serpent fangs. It had managed to pierce even through his scales.

In a wave of dizziness, the Snake Idol clattered to the ground as Arysdron dropped to his knees. There was a sudden sharp pain in his chest.

“I don’t feel so good…” He moaned.

Apparently, there was one final trap, and he was probably going to die horribly and painfully of a poison. Unless he could make it to his pack, which he had placed at the room’s entrance. His anti-venom potions might work…

As he begun gasping for breath, Arysdron stuck his tongue out…and realized that it was much longer than it was supposed to be…
