Furaffinity is a place for artistic expression and reaching out to others within the fandom. Being a center for the free expression of ideas and the exchange of differing schools of thought between persons of varying backgrounds and amounts of life experience in a civilized manner, often opinions will differ and we must all express those in a constructive, genial fashion as mature adults should be able to do.
However, if you want to "make jokes" about murdering someone's infant child, you'd BETTER be ready for the response you've earned, asshat. While we believe in the freedom to offend, threatening someone's baby isn't covered under the program.

Although I've not been back in the fandom but a few weeks now, I've already come to expect the average furry to be inattentive, inexperienced, a little wet behind the ears at least and thus they come off as a bit juvenile, rude- if unintentionally. No real harm done there, providing they're willing to own up to it if they get called out for being kind of an ass. We all do it once in a while.
