Floral Angels #1 Cover (Rough Sketch Idea)
Hey everyone who happens to see this, the reason I'm posting this is because I am thinking of doing a kemono magical girl fan comic/doujinshi called "Floral Angels". (Says "Kemo Angels" as this was a first draft title)
Here's an example/rough sketch or storyboard, you could say, of what I'm planning to have the cover of Issue #1 be like. I referenced this scene from Ralph Bakshi's animated Lord of the Rings film for it:

While I drew the art here, the art for the comic will be drawn by said user who is mentioned there, and all the things such as the rating pictures and comic logos you see may not be in the same places on the final version.
One of the goals I have for this series is similar to some of Phil Vischer's ideas in a way: I feel that in a way, ever since the 2010s, with some exceptions, the medium of manga/anime (and some anthro comics) and the rise of grimdark magical girl anime have been irresponsibly used and have had a negative effect on the moral and spiritual health of others: such as the rise of disgusting series like "Do You Love Your Mom and Her Two-Hit Multi-Target Attacks?" or "My Sister, My Writer" that try to justify disgusting stuff like incest (the latter is even softcore CP I've heard), "Magical Girl Spec Ops Asuka" that glorify underage torture porn and pedophilia/korephilia (female pederasty), stuff I've heard the anime version of "Interspecies Reviewers" has (and it for some time was ranked above classics like Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away... like it's considered to be BETTER than those? WHAT? What am I even supposed to say? ), the grave mistake of Digital Manga Publishing funding/licensing the shitty Kodomo no Jikan manga series on Kickstarter (and Kaworu Watashiya is not right in the head), and the way the fans of said stuff react. And with the exceptions of Magical Girl Raising Project's light novels, and the game How to Date a Magical Girl, the majority of grimdark magical girl anime/manga I've looked at are very, VERY lame (and Madoka is SOOOOO overrated). And the visual novel Idol Magical Girl Chiru Chiru Michiru...I have got no comment for that except that it is the Garzey's Wing of magical girl anime/visual novels/stuff. That's not even counting terrible stuff like "UzaMaid!"
Basically, I'm getting sick of this whole "grimdark/sex sells" thing that's coming out here.
But like with Phil, I feel that this medium can have a positive impact if used correctly (and to be fair I have seen/read some good magical girl stuff recently like the Saintia Sho and Unmagical Girl manga, and I even got laughs from Magical Girl Ore).
Yes, you can probably tell what beliefs I have based on it, but I am not going to make it uniform in terms of beliefs and such, but make it so it appeals to people of all beliefs, and I will make sure that it will not try to put stupid political agendas/ideas before characters and stories, I want to try to spread a message that people can get along and be friends regardless of beliefs. With magical girl stuff and tokusatsu style fights.
What do you think of this? Please let me know in the comments below and if you're interested in seeing/sharing ideas for the comic/doujinshi, I have a Discord server for it: https://discord.gg/SzbU7c
Constructive criticism is fine, critical comments that strive to see a creator improve are welcome, but destructive criticism, hate and negative comments will NOT be tolerated nor welcome.
