Love revisiting these childhood movies. Not all glorious art has to be sexual <3
This series is my childhood and much more. Thank you for drawing this.
Seems to me like someone's been watching a lot of the older animated movies lately. Wouldn't be surprised if An American Tale popped up next.
oh man this scene T A T
Why would you tug on my nostalgia feels.
This is pretty kick ass dude. Great work in the colors and lighting. Also recapturing the nostalgia of the scene.

1 more tender piece in a sea of deviance. This film is still a masterpiece in my eyes for how heartbreaking yet hopeful scenes like this were.
omg... you did so good on this but also ow my feelings
oh god dammit, I didn't need this today, great art dude, the feels are real, lost my mom to cancer a when I was 21 so the feels are strong
No matter how old i get or how many times i see this movie, this scene will always get to me
Oh my god yes the nostalgia, my heart, this scene always made me sad!
You did an amazing job with it!

Oh how my childhood was. Watching this movie was a start of adventures :3
Ow... my heart, my childhood, and everything in between ;;
Ностальгируешь?) Что же будет следующее? По какому мультику рисунок?
The truth about this movie; the original ending, as penned by Don, was incredibly darker then what was used when the film was released. It was in fact so grim, that the Disney executives themselves at the time actually stepped in and asked Don to change it. I won't go into it here, but anyone who wants to know the exact details can easily find them via google.
Why would Disney have any say in a Don Bluth movie? The only advice they would give is "don't put it out, bury it." and thats because they didn't care and were his competition.
I stand corrected, it wasn't disney, but it was still the case that he was asked by those he worked along side with on the movie, to change the script for the ending because it was far too dark for a film that was suppose to be directed towards children.
If you're referring to the "they actually died and are in heaven" ending, Don Bluth himself has said that's a myth. It's not his style anyway.
Definitely hits the heart, great movie, beautiful artwork!!!🥰😍
ahhhh noo... This is too much :(
Me and my grandma used to watch this when i was little... I heard the song from it the other day and i was a mess... why you do this to meeee?????

Man what a time. Emotional roller coaster of a movie and such a powerful scene.
I wish I still had my VHS copy of that movie. I guess I'll have to settle for a dvd remaster.
Follow the bright circle passed the great fock that looks like a long neck, and passed the mountains that burn.
This is beautiful! I just saw it on facebook. I've been considering getting the tree star as my first tattoo.

I've never seen this movie. Judging from the comments if I had I'd be stoically staring at my screen, slightly biting bottom lip for declaring that I'm going to need coffee or beer, depending on what time of day it is.
This was the first movie during my childhood to make me cry. I remember it was teamed up with the Shell gas stations. My grandpa purchased this movie from the one-off of University Ave. in Little Rock.
Still the BEST dinosaur movie and Don Bluth's Magnum Opus.
This is every amount of my childhood, I kinda wish the series would get a good Reboot.
This is a direct shot to my heart! Oh, what warm memories this art evokes
Lovely, lovely 。゚(。ノωヽ。)゚。

Such intense emotion. A beautiful tribute to a masterpiece of art, dialogue and music. This was one of my biggest influences to want to compose such sweeping musical scores. I was so moved by it, and still everyday dream of wielding that power.
Very well done, thanks for sharing

Damn Don Bluth would be proud of this quality. Side note...the feels!!
Bluth films just had something Disney couldn’t match. This scene is one example.

Awww damn, that was tragic Beautifull done though
"Follow the Bright Circle, past the Great Rock That Looks Like a Longneck, and past the Mountains That Burn...."
I cry lots of time when I was very young even in bed, Don Bluth was a genius. I miss the old times.
omg this.... this moved me... I instantly recalled the feeling I had when this happened and I just was crushed... thank you for recreating this and your style makes it enhance that feeling.. wow. thank you
I still cannot watch this film without crying every five minutes from everything going on...whenever i watch it from start to finish I'm left feeling like I've experienced something hard to bring to words...
very few films can do that to me now a days...
Only the old stuff, like old disney films like fox and the hound, 101 dalmatians, Lion king, Beauty and the beast and Don Bluth's other work like American tail and secret of NIMH

The first movie was so good. The latter ones were so corny. And I was a kid back then and I thought that. Kids are good with darker stuff, it don't all have to be stupid.
Augh! I was having such a nice day! Why?!
Very nice pic, good work on it.
BUT WHY?!

I love this movie so much and this just made my day thanks miles ❤❤❤❤❤❤
He had a hand in making it. Along with Mr. Lucas and Mr. Spielberg
"The bright circle must pass over us many times, and we must follow it each day to where it touches the ground"
Beautiful work!
Beautiful work!
Ouch, my childhood feels and trauma are renewed! Still, wonderful work here! A shame that the film never had a sequel.
pain, right in my heart.
I had bought the first twelve movies, but I couldn't keep them until today. Although I could not have seen them either since it was VHS. but the memories still remain.
