Guess what? This is my first ever decent painting created with a traditional medium!
Those who follow my Instagram might know, that lately (quite accidentially) I fell in love with gouache and it is my only friend among the enemies (*stares at watercolors*). It feels very simple to work with and forgives mistakes easily — 100% what I, the clumsiest artist ever, need. Fun fact: the cardboard I used here is one of those cardboards in-between user manuals that come with the newly bought electornics. :"D However, I've already found a decent replacement for my further attempts with traditional art, which is a 630 gsm cardboard.
Aaand (quite accidentially) this is also the first original painting that I've sold! At this moment it is somewhere on its way to the US and I'm ENVIOUS (couldn't fit myself into the package, ergh ;__; ). Some people asked whether there would be prints, so I added this one to my RedBubble as well, so, in case you're interested, feel free to visit:

p.s. Ah, in case you keep an eye on Etsy shops, I revived mine and you could find it here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/Ciorano
I have no idea how often I will add new stuff there, because I didn't even expect to pick up traditional mediums anytime soon, but we'll see!

It reminds me of an orca named Shouka from a theme park I used to go to when I was younger.
I see! I initially planned to draw another captive orca, named Tuar, but in the process things slightly changed the course and now we have just a random orca here. :")
😢😢😢 It's so sad that some humans see entertainment in the suffering of other beings.
I agree! And it is even more sad, that there's not many ways to help them at this point. ;/
Wow this is so good I thought it was a photo at first! great stuff!
