So here it is! Initially started as an entry for the Sketchfab Frontier Challenge (found here), conceptualized and completed in about five days. I’d wanted to make something along these lines for a while, as an experiment in detail and conveying a sense of scale without an abundance of complex geometry, and the month’s challenge was a great creative prompt. Inspiration for the overall design primarily came from Voyager, the Normandy, and the Protector from Galaxy Quest among others, but effort was taken to ensure it stood as its own design and I do hope that comes through.
