After about 16 hours of work this artwork is done and I think it is one of the biggest projects I 've ever drawn.
I'm very proud of the result, even though I almost gave up in the meantime. A lot of effort and even more love has gone into this artwork. ♥
Most of my followers on Twitter and Facebook are already aware of how much I love the Dark Crystal. I especially liked the series and has watched it 6 times since it came out in August // D
SkekTek is such a candidate that I really took to heart despite the "wrongdoing" TuT Since I couldn't help but ship him with an OC. Whether this is "realistic" or not 8 // D
My little vapra lady Oona is something special anyway. Therefore, at her own risk, she sneaks into the crystal castle every now and then to visit the Scientist.This is how the gel fling gradually becomes the little secret of the Skeksis.
I hope you like the picture as much as I do. For me, this artwork was almost a matter of the heart ♥

Beautifully done. The colours are lovely and really suit the characters and those details. The frills, the texture of skekTek's skin are wonderful. I do love skekTek in Age of Resistance. in AoR he comes off as not necessarily outright evil but slowly falling into it as the situation around him pushes. His words to Aughra before putting her to the machine, and his caring for the little bird critter. But the abuse of the other Skeksis waars him down which leads to his breakdown and the incident with the Gruenaks. So if this early enough in his life I could definitely see something like this occurring and skekTek being open to it.
