P4N-D[0]24 will open again soon - By HigthNekoHNZ
HigthNekoHNZ created a machine from the far future or from an alternate past.
This is something i had in mind for quite a while.
• A humongous nigh-indestructible machine built in a time before a war that was so long ago nobody even remembers about the war itself.
• But even if the machine is nigh-indestructible, after centuries, she *has* taken a toll.
• She does not remember why she was built and what she should be doing, all she does is move around and eat a forest every now and then when she feels weak, not even understanding why that would make her better.
• She gets hit by an avalanche and something dislodges inside her.
• She finds out she had the ability to control drones. Tiny bodies (compared to her own). And now she can see that she was build to host *something* about the size of her drone, she was supposed to be a town.
• The avalanche must have dislodged other stuff, bits and pieces of memory are coming back, but not enough.
• Nobody lives inside her anymore, and she realizes she was left all alone, always unable to talk to anybody, with no maintenance for centuries, and did not even know that she needed anything beyond water and wood.
• She finishes dislodging herself from the avalanche, but now that she has a drone that she can control, she knows that she should be paying attention to things she never even cared about... Humans.
• She finds a lone human, and studies him with her drone. Then brings him inside her, because the human has something which she does not have. Inventiveness and ability to comprehend. She saw him build stuff at least. And she still knows that 1 + 1 is something more than 1 for large enough values of 1.
• He helps gradually restoring functions, until he cannot take it anymore. He is alone and cannot take care of something that big, something happens elsewhere while he is taking care of something else. Constantly. While some baseline functionality always remains in her... he just cannot restore her back to "normal" all by himself. He asks that she takes in more humans.
• So she gets to the nearest village of humans and the human and her drone ask for support, so the human and the drone start training engineers and machinists to help herself get into peak operativeness...
• I"m still working on what she pays people with and how she rebuilds basically society inside her and travels every which where to sell services and gain new stuff.
• I have an half idea that she does have the signs that there had been a war inside her and this is why most of her functions and capabilities are locked and she can only shuffle around aimlessly at the beginning. So the crew will also gradually uncover what happened to her and stuff like that.
• Which is also why the very first image has a vibe that seems to come from "Nausicaa and the valley of the wind".
Basically the idea of the story is:
• Part economy management,
• Part giant robot maintenance,
• Part rebuilding society after a disaster
• Part understanding what actually *did* go on so much time ago and why Pandora has been left like that.
I"m still doing research, i have not locked anything down yet. Given how much time i have spent mulling over the story of Metharom, (a story that i"m still stuck writing, mostly because i"m reconsidering several of my choices) do not expect anything soon.

Your weener would probably be taking air in a (very much literal) hallway... if not a cargo bay... so i have zero idea why would you even think she was built for that. 😅
if a quick study of history has taught me anything, its that with enough money and about 10 years, people can destroy anything.
*headpats* then you have never witnessed actual destruction.
Speaking of which, that suggests a way she can pay settlements which help her.
Her body must have been formidable as a fortress and shelter even while in total disrepair. And even in that state, she was mobile! Pandora could serve as a refuge for citizens during major crises.

the whole point was that eventually people get back in her, yes.
Ah, but it makes a nice immediate payment: use of a mobile, fortified city of refuge that can assist at least somewhat in its own defense.
feel free to thank the artist! (see the description)
Welcoming you with open arms. Yes. Or maybe she's just stuck in the middle of cackling maniacally. You can never tell from a still shot.
She just needs a marketing team to set her up as a tourist destination.
