Technically there was 2 of them. One was this huge unholy sin against god, the other was the one constantly chasing you most of the games.
I've only played the first Clocktower on my SNES emulator. I had no idea a retro game could be so scary, but that one actually made me jump. I completely freaked out the first time Bobby showed up after dropping the teacher's head from the ceiling. Such a classic game; I still rave about it.
