Sorry about the very late reply, been pretty busy. Yeah I would say he’s an elder dragon.
Why capture such a majestic beast? Though he go willingly for some reasons.
Because in the game I also capture as much as possible【Dragon collection XD】

That can transcend the definition of [monster] and become an intelligent race more like felyne？
Possibly. He is an elder after all, of untold wonders. Though didn't Fatalis actually speak? Which would make it possible for a dragon to be intelligent yet still a monster.
