Name: Gistlerth
Traits: spiritual, negotiable, restless, workaholic
A mortician/undertaker beetle, that appears in Dirtmouth. He tends to the graves after Gravdigger has passed away. Gistlerth buries the remain of some of the physical dead bodies left behind for some of those who deserve a proper burial. Though despite his actions in his work he does tend to eat the lesser ones, so if you don’t want one of your known to be eaten yet he does not know, better have a good reason behind it and he may be generous to accept the offer in a proper burial for them.
Wrote a few in-game things to him and when meeting the knight/ghost.
Dialogue: When first meeting Gistlerth, he will be sitting down by the little graves in Dirtmouth where Gravedigger’s spirit use to be.
“Hrm? Ah, I thought I smelt something strange, was it you who set Gravedigger’s spirit free from this land somehow? Sensing his spirit had faded away from here, what a sad sight to see but somehow comforting, needed his spirit last any longer seeing such a mess for many years and now to finally rest in peace. He was always a witty one even with my youth he taught me a thing or two at times... but what’s done is done and now his job carries on.”
“What’s that? You weld a dream nail? So that is how you’ve done it…hrm, Then I’m sure you should know peering into one’s mind can be dangerous sometimes too? You never know what one thinks about cha, so you might want to keep that in mind, heheh...”
(Dream Nailed)
“Peering into my thoughts little wanderer, how rude of you... you may not get what you seek from my head.”
-With Troupe level active at the ritual’s end, it will intertwine which choices was taken being one of them triggering “Delicate end” and if chosen differently on the other choice it could be possible for Lynnice to meet him in person.
- His scars on his chest were given to him by the Mantis Lords, when he tried to flirt with them giving one of their own kind their body parts as a gift and got beat up for it. (not very good at romance, but wants to feel loved somehow)
-Tends to the graves and sometimes eats lesser bugs
- He doesn’t bury every single bug he passes by that dies
- likes to read, and talk to others to pass time
- Gravedigger’s apprentice
- Can sense the dead and other spiritual presence
- Actually understanding/nice once you get to know him

Sometimes its the best way to remember someone, to carry on their work. :3
What a fun character idea! I liked him in Delicate End and I really like his backstory. If any civilization needed a wandering grave digger, it's this one. XD
