But the stork was laughing. Not a joyous laugh but an incredulous one, and Pinion stopped talking to let te stork articulate itself more clearly. "There's no way I'm working with you!"
A bitch-slap from a marabou stork? Rather you than me! How do you want Pinion to respond?
- "Why does everyone around here hate me so much?"
- "Why don't you want to work with me?"
- Nothing, just leave the stork to be grumpy on its own
