There's all-star days,
and five-star days,
and: 'Thank my lucky stars
it's the end of the day' days...
And then, sometimes,
there's the Half-Star Day.
"Like Regolith Footsteps
on a distant, lifeless world-
-dust briefly puffed up around
the stomp of a space-boot,
then settles back to the surface,
like Momma's meaty fist
thumping down into the flour.
Maybe you're kneaded today
after all...
Or maybe you're just slapped around
into a little, shivering...
Whimpering bawl-
-in a Saran Wrap shroud,
and tossed in the freezer,
with a final, icy-water/wet-towel
reddened-skin
smack on the derriere.
