By one's self, danger is ever present during travel. Brigands, bandits, inclement weather, storms, and fires are among the general hazards. Some are a product of circumstance, such as rocks being slippery, or happening upon cliff sides, and the rest are made by society itself such as the brigands and bandits, or abandoned technology remaining hostile.

Among her travels, Latch encountered her fair share of these dangers. To say they were no match for her sword and skills would be an overstatement. Time and time again she was on the ropes due to overwhelming numbers, lacking the equipment to face obstacles, lacking knowledge in how to face some dangers upon her path. Some threats were dealt with easily, the rest... not so much. She was experienced, but she was by no means invincible.

Paths across lands unknown would let her experience these dangers. However, danger wasn't always prevalent in her journey to nowhere. Often times, she was privy to sights and sounds she might not have experienced until those very moments. Sometimes she got to try new delicacies, made new acquaintances, and in a couple of instances--have a traveling companion to trade stories and knowledge with.

Here, Latch is once more privy to something new. Adventures through a mountainous landscape has revealed to her ruins in the distance. It lacked the noise and appearance of something technological, and as such, had her full attention. A waterfall was her only obstruction... how will she get to these ruins, I wonder?

Something a little different this time around. I asked of the artist to follow something very closely resembling the general sonic style, combined with their own. To that degree, they have succeeded beyond my expectations and it makes me ecstatic!
