next time can you draw the RMMV Oceanic 3, it was suppose to be the first 300m ship (1000 ft) but is construction was stop due to the economic crisis of 1929. Also, it was a ship for the White Star Line.

As a Michigander, it brings me joy to see the good ol SS Badger. Only had been on her once a long time ago in the 90's heading over to Wisconsin to see relatives but it was a fun trip nonetheless. Funny note, the Badger is also registered as a Historical Site in both Michigan and Wisconsin. Though since the ship has been around since 1952, I do fear it may eventually retire and be replaced with a brand new ferry. That or simply a total refit of the hull to ensure it's still in tip top shape.
I was surprised to learn that she's the only coal-burning vessel still in service on the Great Lakes.
Yeah, there was a bit of a disruption with the EPA because of that, at the time I think they were just discharging the ash from the coal into the lake. Now the engines got a new overhaul to store the leftover ash in special bins while also enhancing the engine to become more efficient. Then the leftover coal is offloaded to be used for cement.
The last of the train car ferries that used to cross Lake Michigan. It was thanks to the short-lived series Deep-Sea Detectives that I learned about these unique vessels. The episode detailed the loss of another, older train car ferry called the SS Milwaukee. Quite a fascinating story.
