Born a sorcerer prodigy of the Flame Legion, Skarn struggled for a long time to find purpose following his and his warband's escape from their Legion. It was thanks to the charr that became his mate, an Olmakhan, that he was able to visit Atholma, and there he learned to temper his fire, and balance it with the other primordial elemental forces that make up the world.

Skarn's control over his magic, like his understanding of the world, expanded thanks to what he learned in that village, and he has rekindled his ability to manipulate the heat of his fire, conjuring flames that blaze a hot blue - his signature ability - with ease.
