Skull's team's Scout, Sam, is a young man, a semi-experienced fighter, but full of potential. At least, that's what Skull thinks. He can be loud, and brash, and foolhardy, but Skull isn't usually wrong when it comes to gauging someone's potential. If she didn't truly think Sam had the ability to become a true, professional member of her team, she would have never allowed him to join.

Unbeknownst to the rest of the team, Skull and Sam have been maintaining a private, sexual relationship. It first began when Skull found out from other team members' gossip that Sam secretly had very strong feelings for the Commander. To the Scout's immense surprise, Skull did not reprimand him for this, but instead asked him to be open and honest with her about how he felt, as she explained that keeping emotions bottled up can be detrimental on the battlefield. After he came clean about how crazy he was for the mature, voluptuous Commander, she surprised him by very quickly bringing him to her private quarters and having her way with him, something he was too shocked by to resist. Skull turned out to be quite the dominant woman in bed, and the two very, very quickly developed a 'mommy-dom' type of sexual relationship.

From that day onward, the two have been meeting privately and having quite vigorous lovemaking sessions. Skull will often pull Sam aside while on-base and either tease or smother him, enjoying seeing the young man flustered or embarrassed. While it is not an official relationship, Sam holds on to the hope that someday perhaps he and Skull can have a real, loving relationship, and that what they currently have is and will continue to be just a way for Skull to relieve sexual tension.
