In my own personal AU where Catardone III confesses his love to Geronimo (Stilton, if you didnt know), I've had the idea of them both finally coming forward with their relationship to their respective families. Catardone moves in with Geronimo in his new mouse city home, abandoning his role as Emperor of Catonia, and handing the throne to his daughter, Tersilla. Geronimo, being the family-oriented man that he is, decides to host his family for Christmas, so that everyone can talk and get to know Catardone better. Given that Catardone has been a persistent enemy to many of the attendees, its certain to be a very awkward party for everyone, especially between Trap, Thea and Benjamin.

I like the idea that, through their love for Geronimo, they'll find a way to form a sort of bond with Catardone over time, and that maybe he in turn will lose some of his empiric edge and become more of a warm family man. Maybe even Tersilla will come to support her father and, while i imagine reluctantly so, also support Geronimo. After all, if they marry, he'd kind of be her dad too.
