Something different for a change. It's not animal or anthro art but I hope no one minds.
It's a pic I did for a friend in July last year. We both like motorcycles, but unlike me, she actually owns one. Not the exact same modell, but nevermind.
Sketches were completely done on paper. Coloring in PS CS3.
Papertexture and coffeestains are textures I found. Don't know where.
The logo is from Suzuki, obviously.
btw: I know that the tires look off. I didn't get it right and simply gave up.-.-
First time I drew something mechanical.
Image © to me
The bike, sadly not.

Oooh, a gixxer :)
Nice work, you're really good at mechanical in my opinion There might be some finer-details missing (I don't know the bikes personally ) but as far as a suitable concept image for any new model launch I'd say you've done very well
I've been a learner biker for about a year now, hoping to get my full licence in the UK sometime this year - a GSX-R is one of the bikes I've been looking at, alongside a Honda VFR 400
Does your friend own the GSX-F then or something?

Thanks. ^^ Well it wasn't easy to add all those details since the actual sketches were done on paper.
I love bikes and cars, but sadly never got a drivers license. (not enough money -.-)
She owns a similar modell. I recognized it too late that is was a different modell, but they look quite similar and hers is red too.

I think you got just enough detail on the page
The sketch, was it done on paper with all those coffee rings or those extra effects you put in afterwards? Either way they're a nice touch.. sorta like someone's been up all night in the garage getting the design ironed out ^^;
As for not affording the license and whatnot - try putting aside a little in savings for it or something It may take YEARS but it's worth it, riding a bike is so nice ^^

^^ The sketches were done on paper, but all the effect like the coffeestains and the crumbly and brownish paper was added afterwards. I aimed for a concept art feel. Guess I actually managed it *is proud*
Yeah, but that is sadly not manageable for me atm. I earn way too little (hardly enough to pull me, my mother and our dogs through.
BUt it will be hopefully over in around a year. And than I will finally make my drivers license.^^

thats actualy pretty good n.n as squatty and the headlamp shape as it is id say its probably the 1000? my brother has a 600 that he totally loves! i know both of my brothers are probably gonna talk me into getting one in the next year or so x.x; i so need a job XD
Looks too fat to be the 600, the exhaust looks like the 1000's. Just don't get a 1000cc bike to start on. Even a 4cylinder 600cc is pushing it. I started on a Suzuki SV 650, V-twin bike. Freakin' love it.
id probably buy my brothers 600 and hed go get a 750 o.o that way im not riding around on a new bike *nods*
O.O I must admit I know pretty little about bikes. Sadly. (Don't even have a drivers license).
As a question: WHat kind of bike would you suggest for a total noob and beginner like me (if I ever get that license)?

depends on how tall you are and how strong you are. height of the bike is important, but for a noob nothing bigger than 650, a recommended 'training bike' is a buell blast because of its size and engine power (500).
They stopped making the Blasts and for a single cylinder bike I hear they're pretty gutless. If you're prone to being reckless or like going fast I'd stay away from any high revving four cylinder bike. 2 cylinder bikes are great starters. Kawasaki Ninja 500, Kawasaki 650R, Suzuki SV650, Suzuki GS500F. If a sport bike style motorcycle is what you're interested in.
