Vrghr DEFINITELY knows what you speak of, on those pre-panel nerves!
Wuffy hosted his very first panel at Mega this year, and the "pre-show jitters" were very much a thing!

It's SCARY! How do folks do public speaking for a living? HOLY MOLY!
Vrghr expects that, like most endeavors, it becomes easier with practice. Though wuff also suspects that a certain amount of ego and self assuredness is necessary to eliminate the nerves completely.
Hm.... perhaps it is easier to do in suit? Where you're putting the character instead of yourself up before the audience? Especially if your character's personality is very outgoing.

i have neither ego or self assuredness....i'm two prey animals put together. i run, and then i hide XD
You did great! You were so personable and made everyone feel included, even if there were some pesky foxes out there ;P
Seriously though, the jitters are the worst. That’s why I rarely perform music live.

Oh gosh! Pre-concert jitters were the WORST! Especially if this wuff had a difficult part, or worse, a solo!
But, man! The rush afterward! To hear the applause, the feel the feedback from the crowd and their energy flowing over and through you! To see the joy you gave them through your performance.
Those were all so worth it! Every moment of the pre-show nerves and uncertainty, even that bit of nausea from facing all those staring eyes. Those all washed away at the end, and that feeling lingered for so long after the show.
Wuff sincerely misses it!
