I'm certain most of you creative folks here on FA have faced a similar problem once in awhile. Sometimes an artist's mind gets all clogged up with ideas and so they need to be sorted out. Here, Mr. Foxy's friend Muse shows up to remove the extraneous ideas, and put them out to dry.

THAT... Is a scary concept. I've been told to "Clean up my act" before, but it might be quite the undertaking to have to hire someone else to do it.
That's what makes the comic work. I would of drawn it "Pantomime" but I couldn't resist adding Muse humming the tune, "Pop goes the Weasel".
Aha...! Some call it "Artist's Block" and some call it "Vapor Lock" but it's all the same thing.
yeah, sometimes... and then I start on none because I can't decide on priorities. :P
noting them down doesn't work, either, because then the initial spark expires like right away.

You should see the way I work. I have three stacks of folders on my drawing desk. "Stuff being worked on Now", "Stuff I'm working on later", and "Stuff that's finished and done". (Not to mention stacks of reference books and materials, Letters I need to write, and a couple small model building projects.)
I've seen some workspaces like that. as for myself I need to vclean up the dinner table again after working, though there is a small corner with letters, my main sketching tools, and currently three old models of Fords done by Funmates: one Torino and two Mustangs. :)
Oh Cool! A Torino! I had a Corgi 1971 Dodge Toronado in my teen years and I really liked it because it was sort of like a Model car I could build, take apart, then put back together again. I have no idea what ever happened to it, but now I see it's an expensive collector's item on e-bay.
yeah, some things we destroyed as kids are now worth a fortune. :P
There are times when it'd be nice if you could do something like that, but just trying to get the brain to shut off at night for me can be quite a task
(Chuckles sympathetically.) Well, I must admit that opening up of Mr. Foxy's head is a trick only Muse knows.
Heh Heh! I could say that only his ideas are "Dirty" but then again that wouldn't make sense for the comic. Sometimes I do step into my own bear traps.
OCD perv? Clean hands, dirty mind?
