A new take on Leia Bannek: during the events preceding Aberration (when the ARK network had no overseer and Edmund started going batshit bonkers) Leia Bannek killed and was killed by a wild raptor that managed to run her down. While nobody ever truly dies in the ARK network, the lack of an overseer led to some unforeseen glitches to occur, leading to this mutation. Leia's a survivor, though, and she's going to get used to it even if it kills her. Again.
