i liked that last scyther so much i made him an oc
Silas was Indigo League Champion from 2001-2002 (back when strength and tactics mattered, before all this EV training and mega evolution malarkey) and he never lets anyone forget it. Sure, he's gotten slightly out of shape in the years since, but it's nothin! He can work it off in a month or two no sweat!

I always remembered Scyther being one of the hardest ones to find in the early Pokémon games, but now... that's one Scyther I wouldn't let go of~

I could recommend a good "Plus-sized" battle club, give him a fair match.
For some bizzare and completely unexplainable reason, Silas always seems to win matches after eating a bunch of poke-beans and getting punched in the stomach, must be a lucky food!

Would he actually be a good trainer for someone training? I see it as he would push all HIS workout training on to his pupil, which would inturn result in said pupil getting stronk in a few months. Or maybe they would get fat as well, but that would be the result of if the student is inspired by the champ of legends or the champ of now.
yeah he'd probably have a lot of good techniques and advice to give when he's not tellign stories about how great he was/still totally is

This makes sense if he was facing rock type Pokemon. Since he's bug and flying type he takes four times damage from rock type attacks. Yes I'm a huge Pokemon nerd after all! ^^
