Good picture, but the 'fingering of guns' plus 'Smiling at something' reads as 'Want to practice my shooting' to me, not as 'Happy to see you'. However, I'll admit that the handguns may be just a convenient hand rest for her. Still, it's a good picture.

Everything looks great except the face just seems off to me. Not entirely sure why, just a feeling. She looks like she has a goatee.

By haunting art, I mean the stuff that you start... keep coming across the unfinished pic, but never manage to finish. Then you win by completing it. ^^
