"Aa...achoo!" Her fur puffed out as she shook the rain off and hurried back to her base to dry off. While she knew it was going to rain, she still did not bother to pack an umbrella with her- mostly out of laziness and not wanting to carry it around with her all day. Yet she did not seem to mind the rain very much. Still, she needed to hurry back and change out of her clothes before she got sick…curse her for picking the one day to not ride her bike.
A bright red cover popped up over her head shielding her from the rain, only for her to look up and discover-
"You again?! What do you want, baka...?"
Glancing back, she was faced with a tall doberman in assassin garb. Wagging his stub as he sheltered her from the rain with his umbrella, Grimm looked down at her.
"You are wet. It is raining. So I am walking you home. Let's go." Not giving her the opportunity to complain, he gingerly nudged her along. Not bothering to ask him where he came from…or why he just happened to be around the same time as she was, she just shrugged and let him escort her home.
“You are awful pushy when you want to be. Shouldn’t you be off guarding your clients before I off them?” she said in a half joking, half serious tone. He should know not to fraternize with her too much considering their jobs! Yet he did not seem to care…nor did he seem to be afraid of her, oddly enough.
“I am fine. And no, I am off the clock right now so do not worry about me so much as yourself…who is to say I will not come after one of YOUR clients later?” He mocked her, pulling the umbrella away for a moment so she got wet again. She merely shook her wet hair in his direction and stole his umbrella while he was distracted.
“Baka. Come on, let’s get back and will order us a pizza hmm? Then I can show you some new moves I learned!
I learned this one move that completely paralyzes my opponent!!!” she excitedly exclaimed as she talked on and on about how she wanted to spar with him again. Grimm, on the other hand, merely sighed to himself as he listened on. While he enjoyed spending time with her, he wished she was not so…violent and kill happy~

Get over it Grimm, you should not have helped train her if you did not want her to be an efficient killing machine, LOL.
I got this piece a LONG time ago, but was waiting for the right moment (and story) to go along with it. A piece me and tolerabledog got a few months ago of our characters enjoying a nice stroll in the rain. I actually like running and walking in the rain!
Certain friends, however, keep telling me if I do that I will get sick or injured, so Mr. Overprotective feels like he has to keep me dry, lol.

Haha, I have been told that by several others! Talily has a way of portraying Whisper in a soft, sweet innocence, even when she is being a pain in the butt or tough- that is something not many artists can pull off. I promise I will be getting more art of Whisper done by her soon; she is definitely one of my favorite artists to work with.

Me and tolerabledog need to set up proper backstories of our characters relations to each other and why they are the way they are, but to paraphrase: he trained her to fight, box, and over the years, became friends.
But unfortunately they work for different bosses, so they have had to fight and even come close to killing each other over the years...close but cannot due to their bond. So they're frenemies: enemies on the field, friends when they are off the clock.

...you are the one that wanted to get this piece with me AND you saw it when it was first posted months ago! Baka. Boy, it must suck getting old and forgetting stuff, huh (lol)

What a gentleman! You gotta appreciate the small things friends will do for each other! Far more than some extravegant I think the time when someone's affection shows through the most is when they do something seemingly small, something they might not even be thanked for but they do it anyways, helping in itself is enough! Not that Whisper seems to be operating on that empathic of a wavelength haha!
Really cute art, Grimm in particular looks like a big puppy which may or may not be accurate but I still enjoy it plenty. ^^

He is a big puppy dog! All bark and no bite...at least around Whisper. She just does not appreciate his gentleman nature as much as he would like her too, haha.
But thank you so much; they have a very unorthodox friendship to say the least. I told him we will have to get more art of our characters together soon- I am not sure why but people seem to enjoy art of our two characters interacting together for some odd reason
