My image for Texas Furry Fiesta this year, which you may have seen on either the conbook cover, or as a large backdrop adorning one of the convention hallways.
When I sent the final file to them, I included a joke-y 'player's handbook' title using the Advanced D&D font, or something very near like it, just because I thought it was funny. And then they went and actually used it for the conbook cover, and I had to laugh. Probably a good call, I'm hoping it made other people laugh too :)

What a delightful design! Can't have a hoard without a cool-looking dragon.
didn't read all the way through this and I was eyeing the dragon for something.
I love the characters design, I do question if the dragon can fly based on these wings. And from how the three party members are fighting it?
Pardon me saying, but I consider it to being a whipe. o.O

Sometimes you don't choose to fight a dragon. Sometimes the dragon chooses to fight you. In those cases you rarely are prepared for it with spells, items or tactics.
They seem to be standing in a pile of gold.
I think they went there on purpose. :P
It doesn't look to be super big, perhaps its not full grown.
Or perhaps they are exceptionally skilled.

Oh, how often did we end up fighting something we were not expecting
And how often did we go in with a plan that worked

Loved seeing the large version of this at the con. Very well done.
Protect yourself with an iron shield from lightning ... * internal electrical engineer at a loss *
and fight him with a metal sword... I'd do it in a full plate armour while praying to the Holy Faraday, though.
Protect yourself from lightning with a metal shield or not protect you at all, your choice.
Though I'd like to point out that the shield looks like it could be insulated on the inside, it could be made from a non-conductive fantasy metal or enchanted.

Hey, they don't specify on elements, shields just give you a better save vs. breath weapons of all kinds. Also yeah, it could be enchanted. Who knows?!
Needs more dragon fighting Luchadors, after all it is TFF and there is an AMAZING Lucha scene there in Dallas.
Oh, this is one of the prints we bought from your store! Amazing piece.
When viewing this, I got that TSR vibes artwork from it.
I'm just blown away by the level of detail here. Absolutely spectacular; must have taken you forever, though! I'll bet it looked amazing printed up as a poster at the con.
I really hope they rolled for initiative, because that looks like it needs at least a 20.
Sorry geeked out for a second.
Great picture and scene, I feel the fighting, emotion, and conflict portrayed by everyone in the picture.
But seriously... I hope they have high constitution and will saves. (Shudders remembering Neverwinter fights...)

I KNEW that looked like your work! They had it as a poster in front of the Artist Alley area and my room-mate and I got pics in front of it in our D&D outfits as if we were part of the battle! This piece is so amazing!
At first glance I thought the lion dude on the dragon's back was the dragon's owner or something.
That would be kinda badass, having a dragon to guard both you and your hoard.
Ooof, yeah, I had to purchase a print of this at your table at TFF ..
The resolution on the HUGE backdrop was incredible. Took a photo of a fursuiter in front of it, and they looked like part of the artwork.

It's all fun and games until you pick up some gold and the DM says: "Roll initiative"…
Lovely work, I love the light interactions as well as the small things like the gold being detailed enough to not be a mass of vaguely distinct yellow, the swirling smoke from the mid-cast spell and the translucent nature of the dragon's wing. The scales are also really great as they've not been skipped over and the folding on the wing membranes really add to the image as well.
