This man in the picture is one of my new OCs, Frank Rivers, who is the main character of my TF stories called Unlikely Entomology. Here is his backstory:
“ Franco Riviera (56) did not live a happy life, as a youth in Chile. His mom was murdered by a gang (innocent bystander), and his dad fell into a deep depression, which worsened as he drowned himself in alcohol. They lived in a shack, filthy and without electricity, on the meager money the father could make as a day laborer. He often took his anger out on his son, locking him in a trunk. That tiny, confined space was made all the worse by the bugs infesting it. The terror was overwhelming, but he coped by disassociating with reality, and the human race in particular. He became a psychopath.
Years later, he became a scientist, studying those tormentors that had traumatized him so. He figured out how to transform people into insects: The ultimate expression of power. Turning a human into one of those pathetic beings almost made up for the years of anguish as a child. He developed a formula that, essentially, broke down a person at the cellular level, leaving an insect and a pile of biological goo as all that remains. He saves some of this goo from each victim, as it is the primary agent in his formula.
Now he hides in America, working as an exterminator in Ferndale, CA. On the side, however, he still practices his craft, finding undesirables and those he thinks won't be missed and making them his tests subjects. So far, no one suspects him, but he can't help leaving a signature in the scene of every crime: His hatred of his childhood home makes him hate dirt and grime, so he polishes every doorknob in the house of his victims. The police are starting to suspect the disappearances are linked, and talk of the "doorknob killer" is starting to circulate.”
I want to thank SketchySeraph who helped me a little with some details for this Universe and also many thanks to Dragontaur who helped to write this origin based on my ideas.
