Some Background on Watersmoke, As there isn't much known(I'll fix that no worries) She is a Rune mage.
In her homeland (referred to as Kaisland by her) She learned this particular way of spell casting.
It works by putting magic Ink on an object or living being. Carefully drawn and made sure to not smudge or wrong. Then the spell book is pulled out. And the chanting begins. its like a singing of some sort in a strange language.
Once she starts chanting, the raw magic around will channel into the runes. Infusing it with the raw magic, defined by the runes and the spell shes chanting. And boom: You get yourself a Sword of Eternal stabbing! It stabs you, Eternally. But you never die!
