I chose the D&D theme and wanted to do patterns AND something that doesn't clichely involve weapons (no overused stereotypes on my watch if I can help it!).
Delicious patterns, do you habeeb it?
All hand-drawn curls and circles and thingimajigs. Sure, I wasn't obligated to go that far, but if I'm not gonna do it right, why do at all?
The east and west spoke of the compass star is a MacGyvered fix to an inking mistake.
Now I'm going to get on the next commish, keep busy till morning then treat myself to some well-deserved eggtarts.
EDIT: Whoops, head's a lil large.

Sweet mother the detail! Oh this is absolutely gorgeous. My hands would hate me if I tried doing that O_O
My hands and me have a mutual understanding.
And having a off-center sanity helps.
I won't be able to do what I did with a sound mind.

I wish I could double fav the pieces you post. The combination of details, depth, design and composition that are all present is staggering; your lines, magnificent. As always.
Lovely detailing and an endearing smile! That is a telescope in the sheath, right? Coolness!
